Building on the first workshop, this workshop focuses on modeling the atmosphere, oceans, and questions of computational infrastructure.

We want to address questions such as:

• How can we integrate information from observations and high-resolution simulations more effectively in climate models?
• How do we best couple components of Earth system models?
• How do we achieve a good trade-off between modularity of ESM components and integration of components with each other?
